And in the dark sole night
She sat gazing the moon,
Without any ray of hope
Or an imminent boon.
Little did she know
The radiance of her lustrous word,
Eclipsing the murkiness
It sparkled her world’s nerd.
Scattering the light within
Poetry stood as if a lamppost,
Illuminating her dull life
It nourished her soul like a host.

Good poetry feeds the soul. Don’t labour hard for words to rhyme. Let it come naturally. Well done.
